Locality: United States, California, Imperial, Chocolate Mountains Aerial Gunnery Range, c. 5.5 miles due west of the south end of the Little Mule Mountains, along the road from “Camp Burt” to new target at “Invader”, wash crossing near road junction to Salvation Pass

Elevation: 401 meters (1315ft)
Habitat: Large wash on gentle alluvial slope; sandy-gravelly soil, open wash woodland with Parkinsonia florida dominant, with Prosopis, Olneya, Condalia, etc.
Notes: Fairly common 0.5-1 m shrubs on wash edges. Highly branched, branchlets with spinescent tips. Fruits mostly fallen.
