Locality: United States, Texas, Parker, Mineral Wells. Texas Air National Guard Training Base, Fort Wolters, TA 4. W side, abandoned road leading down to creek. Elev. 385 m.
Habitat: Disturbed in abandoned road. Moderate slopes. Truce Stony soils. 5-20% slopes. Associates include Bothriochloa ischaemum, Hedeoma acinoides, Valerianella amarella, Sorghum halapense, and Astragalus nuttallianus. Uncommon.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
