Habitat: On red, rocky, shale soil of S exposure with Hymenopappus, Stipa, Stanleya, Hilaria and Leucelene. Moenkopi Formation.

Notes: Eremogone kingii ssp. uintahensis, det. W.A. Weber 1987. Originally identified as Arenaria fendleri T. & G. Petals pale yellow.
