Description: Common and often abundant; generally cespitose; often prolific on mine tailings; staminate individual; flower bud collected 12 April 2007 from individual transplanted (pot, outside) to Chino Valley, Arizona; n=22 during meiosis of microgametogenesis; flower photographed and collected 29 April 2008 from same individual.
